World Missionary Press (WMP) is a non-profit, interdenominational Christian ministry founded in 1961 by Watson and Rose Goodman. Initially, their humble efforts began with a mimeograph machine on their dining room table in South Africa—producing Scripture-based coloring pages and a 48-page Zulu booklet titled Help From Above for the children they ministered to (World Missionary Press). An ECFA-accredited ministry, WMP maintains financial transparency and stewardship standards. In the fiscal year ending September 30, 2024, it reported over $8.3 million in contributions, with revenues exceeding expenses and a net asset base approaching $14.5 million, reflecting solid financial health (ecfa.org). From its beginnings in 1961 in Winona Lake, Indiana, WMP set out with three audacious goals:

Today, WMP has far exceeded all these benchmarks: annual income has grown well into the millions, production regularly exceeds 10 million booklets per month, and print capability has expanded well beyond 300 languages (World Missionary Press). The founders of WMP, Watson and Rose, passed on the mantle, and as of August 2024, Steve Chupp serves as Interim President (World Missionary Press).
